About Joe Jurneke

Joe Jurneke President & CEO With over 43 years in Product Development management and engineering, Joe Jurneke is a seasoned product development and R&D veteran. 

Before founding Applied Engineering Science in 1999, he spent 26 years in product development for large technology companies, shipping numerous world-class products in high volume. Acutely aware of the issues that plagued resource-strapped development teams, he started AES, creating a go-to resource for mission-critical services to augment product development efforts. 

Mr. Jurneke has over 38 years of project management experience, including ten years leading advanced technology development. 

He holds 11 patents in communications channel technology and four others in process. He has received two technical achievement awards for technical excellence in data storage technology, was the co-recipient of the Chairman’s Quality Award and is well known for his technical knowledge, business acumen and commitment to excellence. When he is not supporting his clients, Joe enjoys photography, precision machining and recording, mixing, and mastering music for bands and artists.
